WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

An English speaker preferably with a mastery of a Nordic language, with a background in music and ideally knowledge of the Nordic television production market. You will be part of the Audio Network family, but more specifically of a tight-knit sales team. A bunch of music enthusiasts (artists, DJs, producers etc) the team is quite progressive in its approach to what we do! Working remotely and / or based in our superb Hatton Garden London office, you will spend your time in between here and making regular trips to the Nordic countries to introduce clients and attend industry events.

THE ROLE

Your day-to-day will consist of preparing music briefings and pitching / pitching our music to clients, as well as analyzing user data to drive business with existing clients. You will also spend time researching the market and finding new customers to target and you will proactively contact and engage potential (selected) customers. The role also includes administrative tasks related to the management of accounts receivable and the processing of music licenses.

As a Music Consultant, you will participate and contribute to weekly and monthly team meetings, providing insight and advice on how work hours are spent. You will bring with you a deep understanding of broadcast and television production and its community in the Nordic countries. Understanding how music helps tell stories and is synchronized in TV shows is crucial. A creative problem solver, you’ll also be able to enter data and use it to guide you on the way you work. You will work with some of the highest value TV content and manage existing creative relationships as well as forge new relationships with producers and editors from broadcasters and production companies, making sure they know where to go when they need it. want good service and good music.

You will get to know the catalog, the artists, producers and composers with whom we work in order to be able to pitch the right pieces every time. You will get back to our music team to let them know about any gaps in the catalog, as well as any hot spots!

If you spot a creative opportunity, be it in terms of a license or a marketing idea, you will have the initiative to jump on it and give it wings.

SPECIAL SKILLS

We are looking for a minimum of 2 years experience in a sync position in a music company, you must know music, love TV content and know which production companies do what programming. Music moves you, you understand how and why it moves others, and you know how to find music for and communicate the music to customers. You are confident, can create compelling arguments, and communicate your ideas in an articulate manner.

Strong customer facing experience is something you will have bags of. Presenting and networking are second nature to you; you know a lot of people in the company, especially in the TV production and broadcast space in the Nordic countries.

We are looking for someone special; someone with sparkle, initiative and creativity. Someone with ideas to challenge themselves and the team to think – outside and around the box. Maybe you’ll be an expert at pitching, or you’ve spent years working in production or television and figuring out how the shoe fits from a customer perspective.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in music synchronization / editing / supervision
  • Existing relationships within the Nordic television production and broadcast community
  • Experienced in presenting music to creatives and production teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to changing demands
  • Proactive, creative and solution-oriented approach and takes the initiative to improve the way you work
