Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been in the headlines since their decision to step down as senior royals and their subsequent talks about their negative experience of royal life. But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex could soon see their appearance in top US magazines dwindle because of Prince William and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge visiting the US themselves towards the end of the year. . Royal commentator Neil Sean has quoted close sources to suggest Harry and Meghan could be pushed into the background for ‘not selling as much’ and seeing Kate in particular take over US publications.
Speaking on his Youtube channel, Mr Sean said: “For Meghan Markle this must really hurt. But we warned her and more importantly she didn’t notice.
“Because the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are going to the United States of America for their Earthsot Charity, a lot of people are going to be really interested in the United States. Celebrities are just migrating to the next big thing, wherever you be, you are now yesterday’s news.
“And Harry and Meghan are apparently finding that. That particular cover of a magazine that truly embraced everything they were – waking up, saving the planet and, most importantly, just loving them – they decided to change course.
“It’s all because the editor of the magazine recently changed and according to a very good source, the editor of the magazine is not as friendly as the previous editor.”

He continued: “What you might really read is just this – they just don’t sell as much. That’s the biggest factor.
“If they were still selling they would still be on the front page, but now, of course, it’s the emergence of Princess Kate, as Americans like to call her.
“With Catherine moving forward in the next six months, she is going to see an avalanche of positive public relations alongside her husband, HRH Prince William.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are due to travel to Boston in December to attend the second edition of the Earthshot Prize, the Duke’s £1million prize aimed at promoting environmental projects around the world.
“I think they need to realign their image. Anyway, they’re burning through their royal status pretty quickly now.
“I think they’ll have to, in the end, give that up because it won’t wash away.”
And royal commentator Hilary Fordwich has questioned Meghan Markle for getting involved in politics while using her title.
Speaking to Dan Abrams on Newsnation, Ms Fordwich said: “Prince Harry obviously can’t control his wife because he knows very well you can’t be a renegade royal here in the States because you’re breaking centuries of royals staying out of politics.
“Not just American politics, all politics.”
