Taylour Paige and Haley Bennett Join Jonathan Majors in ‘Dreams Magazine’ – Deadline

EXCLUSIVE: We hear that Zola Independent Spirit Award winner Taylor Paige and Cyrano actress Haley Bennett embarks Dreams Magazine opposite Jonathan Majors.

The film follows an amateur bodybuilder (Majors) who struggles to find a human connection in the exploration of fame and violence. The screenplay was blacklisted 2020, and Elijah Bynum will direct and write.

Mike O’Hearn, four-year-old four-year-old Mr. “Natural” Universe and Fitness Model of the Year who appeared on american gladiators, is also starred.

Majors is an executive producer under his Tall Street production banner, with Somnambulist producers Jennifer Fox and Dan Gilroy. The Los Angeles Media Fund is financing entirely, with Jeffrey Soros and Simon Horsman also producing. CAA Media Finance arranged the financing and will handle the national sale.

Paige will next be seen in Legendary’s reboot The toxic avenger and starred in Lena Dunham’s recent world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, Pointed stick. Her feature film credits include Oscar-winning Ma Rainey’s black bottom, white boy Rick and the next Mack and Rita with Diane Keaton and Brothers facing Brendan Fraser, Josh Brolin and Peter Dinklage.

Paige won Best Female Lead for Zola this year at the Independent Spirit Awards. It is replaced by CAA, Management 360 and Granderson Des Rochers.

Bennett won Best Actress at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival for Swallow, which she also executive produced. She stars in the next UAR title Until by Chinonye Chukwu, Jamie Adams’ she is love and the Lionsgate Eli Roth feature film adaptation of the video game, Borders. Other feature credits include Hillbilly Elegy, Girl on the Train, Rules Don’t Apply, The Magnificent Seven and The equalizer. Bennett is also set to star in the feature film of Jackie Polzin’s novel brood which she will also produce alongside Topic Studios, Joe Wright and Swallow producer Molly Asher. It is replaced by WME, Tavistock Wood Management and Brecheen Feldman Breimer.
