Travis Scott sets up email for Astroworld fans

The statement asks those who wish to contact Scott and his team for condolences or assistance to contact them at [email protected]. Scott and his team go on to state that there will be people ready to help.

The email is the latest in a series of efforts by Scott to remedy the damage done on the opening night of the third annual Astroworld festival. During his Friday night set, hundreds of fans as young as 9 were injured or killed when 50,000 people took to the stage. Scott has since offered to pay funeral expenses for the eight people who lost their lives and has partnered with mental health company BetterHelp to offer one-on-one therapy sessions for a month.

Since Friday’s tragedy, nearly 50 lawsuits have been filed against Scott and various festival-related entities, including entertainment giant Live Nation, promoter ScoreMore Shows, and Houston city and county authorities. Less than a week after the event, investigations are underway to determine who is to blame for the fatal incident, with law enforcement and private companies publicly debating who was primarily responsible for avoiding the incident. .

In a statement released Wednesday, Scott’s lawyer Edwin F. McPherson from McPherson LLP said, “Investigations should start being finger-based so that together we can identify exactly what happened and how we can prevent something like this from happening again.”
